The Ministers for Foreign Affairs have now acknowledged the receipt
of their Papers,
and have informed me that
they believe that
they will be of considerable use
in connection with the piracy
in Chinese Waters
system to be adopted, they will hand them over to the proper Authorities
Their Excellencies also request me to convey to the Secretary of State for the Colonies the expression of their thanks for his Lordship's generous present.
